Doug is married to Freda Hinsche Otto, Ph.D. They live in Long Beach with Dewey, their Cocker Spaniel. Between them, Doug and Freda are the proud parents of five children. (One of the daughters is currently a student at LBCC and on the honor roll.) They love the fun of being grandparents to their five grandchildren.
